Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of the ConnectIn Kids platform. By enrolling a child, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
Children ages 5–17 may use the platform only through guardian-linked enrollment. Unverified adults cannot participate in the child social graph.
2. Guardian responsibilities
- Provide accurate enrollment information and maintain current contact email
- Review and approve friend connections for ages 5–11 as prompted
- Respond promptly to safety alerts
- Supervise the child's platform use
3. Acceptable use
Prohibited: harassment, circumventing safety systems, impersonation, sharing contact info for off-platform communication, and any unlawful activity.
4. Platform architecture
Closed ecosystem: no public profiles, open DMs, or external friend suggestions. Guardian-linked enrollment required.
5. Service availability
Currently in beta. Material changes to safety or privacy practices communicated to guardians via email.
6. Intellectual property
Platform content and software remain property of ConnectIn Kids Inc. User content is subject to the moderation pipeline.
7. Limitation of liability
Safety tooling reduces harm but no system is infallible. Guardians remain responsible for supervising technology use.
8. Termination
Guardians may request deletion at any time. ConnectIn Kids may suspend accounts violating these Terms or posing safety risks.
