This Privacy Policy describes the information ConnectIn Kids Inc. collects, how it is used, and the measures employed to protect children ages 5–17.

1. Scope

Applies to all users: child accounts, guardian accounts, and credentialed educators within the verified ecosystem.

2. Information collected

• Child display name and age band
• Guardian email and verification records
• Verified connection records

2.2 Activity summaries

• Quest progress and badge attainment
• Interaction and tutoring metrics
• Data compiled for guardian emails

2.3 Safety indicators

• Binary moderation outcomes
• Pattern-based risk assessments
• No verbatim message retention

3. Information not collected

• No sale of children's data to third parties or brokers
• No third-party behavioral advertising to children
• No plaintext storage of private messages for human review
• Layer-1 checks discard content after evaluation
• Layer-2 scans use interaction patterns, not transcripts

4. Guardian visibility

Daily summaries (ages 5–11) and weekly summaries (ages 12–17) via email. High-severity events trigger immediate notification.

5. Data retention

Data retained only as necessary to operate the service and meet legal obligations. Moderation artifacts minimized by design.

6. Children's rights

Guardians may request summary review, account deletion, or consent revocation. Participation is not conditioned on excessive data disclosure.
